Job Title: On-Site Supervisor

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Salary: 3,500 - 5,000 AED

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced On-Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As the On-Site Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that the project is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will supervise workers, manage resources, and collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring that work is completed according to plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Ensure Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and ensure the site is maintained according to safety standards. Conduct regular safety checks and take immediate action to address hazards.
• Team Leadership: Lead and direct a team of workers, subcontractors, and tradespeople, ensuring that they follow instructions, adhere to schedules, and work efficiently.
• Quality Control: Monitor and inspect the work to ensure it meets the required quality standards. Address any issues with quality immediately.
• Schedule and Resource Management: Work with the project manager to establish and maintain schedules. Ensure the proper allocation and management of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues on-site that could cause delays or affect project quality, including coordinating with other teams for effective solutions.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain daily logs of activities, material usage, safety inspections, and progress updates. Report to management on the status of the project, including any deviations from plans.
• Coordinate with Stakeholders: Act as the primary point of contact on-site for all subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers. Facilitate communication between all parties to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in construction management and fit-out site supervision.
• Education: Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related fieldbut not required.
• UAE Experience: Familiarity with UAE construction regulations and standards.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
• Proficient in using construction management software and basic office software (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
