Job Profile: Onsite Project Coordinator (ICT & AV)

Job Purpose:

To oversee and coordinate all on-site activities related to ICT & AV (Information and Communication Technology & Audio Video) systems installation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.

Coordinate with various stakeholders, including engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and clients, to ensure smooth project execution.

Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, developing mitigation strategies.

Conduct regular site inspections to assess project progress and quality.

Prepare and submit project reports to project management and client teams.

Site Supervision and Management:

Oversee the work of on-site technicians and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control procedures.

Resolve site-specific issues and challenges, such as material shortages, equipment failures, and labor disputes.

Coordinate with site engineers to ensure seamless integration of ICT systems with other building systems.

Conduct regular site meetings to review project progress, address concerns, and communicate effectively with the project team.

Quality Assurance and Control:

Implement quality control measures to ensure adherence to project standards and specifications.

Conduct system testing and commissioning, verifying the functionality and performance of all ICT & AV systems.

Review and approve all site documentation, including installation records, test reports, and as-built drawings.

Identify and resolve quality issues promptly, taking corrective actions as needed.

Client Relationship Management:

Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about project progress, challenges, and solutions.

Address client concerns and requests in a timely and professional manner.

Build strong relationships with clients to ensure future business opportunities.

Safety and Risk Management:

Enforce strict safety protocols and guidelines on the construction site.

Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks to promote a safe working environment.

Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards, implementing risk control measures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/IT/Electronics Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICT & AV system installation, testing, and commissioning.

Strong understanding of ICT & AV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, and structured cabling.

Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in relevant software, including project management tools and design software.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Valid certifications preferred.

Additional Considerations:

Site Visits: Frequent site visits may be required, including occasional overnight stays.

Travel: Travel may be necessary for project coordination and client meetings.

Physical Demands: The role may involve working in various site conditions, including confined spaces and heights.

By fulfilling these responsibilities and possessing the required skills, the Onsite Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of ICT & AV projects, ensuring client satisfaction and project profitability.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
