Requirements
We are looking for a highly organized and adaptable On-Call Administrative Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support across various departments on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The anticipated start date is January 2025.
As this position is based in Doha, Qatar and offers no relocation assistance, GU-Q is looking for locally based candidates only.
This is an intermittent and temporary, non-sponsored position that requires all applicants to already have the necessary sponsorship to live and work in Qatar.
Key Accountabilities Provide general administrative assistance to multiple departments, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining records.
Key activities Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, and events by preparing materials, coordinating logistics, and liaising with relevant stakeholders. Assist in departmental projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met effectively. Maintain accurate databases and generate reports as required. Ensure adherence to GU-Q policies and confidentiality requirements in all interactions and tasks. Other similar duties, as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree.
Experience Relevant administrative experience, preferably in an academic or professional environment. Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
