Summary The OWS Engineering NPI Leader will be accountable for the readiness of GE9X, foam wash & advanced BSI processing across the OWS network. This role involves working closely with the GE9X engineering, repair, and design teams to develop a strategy that outlines the minimum capability requirements needed to establish both on-wing and off-wing repair capabilities at our designated GE9X sites. Additionally, there is a need for OWS to integrate off-wing foam wash capability to increase Time On Wing (TOW) of the LEAP fleet and reduce unplanned engine shop visits. This element of the role requires collaboration with the advanced technology team to ensure specific OWS internal requirements are adhered to. You will be responsible for ensuring that the necessary tools, processes, and skills are in place to perform repairs efficiently and effectively while ensuring that all safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDIP) factors are considered and met. It will also be the responsibility of the NPI Engineer to work closely with the Global Leadership team to ensure the NPI roadmap continues to meet the global site business objectives.

Role Overview

• Develop an internal NPI matrix that documents key milestones of process readiness to agreed timescales.
• Work directly with PSE, Engineering repair and design to ensure all aspects GE9X readiness are understood and integrate new applicable process as applicable.
• Work with the site Engineers to assure adequate documentation of technical data generated is consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
• Partner with Advanced Technology development team to ensure all equipment developed for off wing foam wash meets the with the designated shop requirements
• Ensure foam wash process compliments process flow so that engine TAT does not become adversely affected.
• Partner with the site technicians to verify new procedures are within the capability and scope
• Partnering with Site leaders and other stakeholder functions to ensure, training, equipment and other resources are in place to execute on required business timeline.

• Utilize leadership skills in project management type setting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited university or college
• A minimum of 5 years experience in an engineering or within a Part 145 Aviation facility
