Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities
Responsible for a cost center a profit center; product, project or service. Managers of people from multiple families within the function. This Job is predominantly EB, SEB but could include other bands.
Ability to present a clear and compelling vision on strategy, business and support of own unit. Persuades senior business management to change structures, roles, ways of working. Ability to gauge a multi-layered department and to lead team leaders.
Leads a department (functional area or organizational unit) that is composed of different teams and works on multinational or even global level or leadership roles for large and complex organizations with local scope.
The work done in the department(s) is of a high professional level. It requires a solid technological and methodological background of the employees working in those departments. Time is dedicated not only to complex cases requiring interpretation and ad hoc development of rules but is also concerned with developing new approaches, methods and tools.
Required Qualifications
This role requires experience in and/or outside the organization with typically 10+ years relevant business experience. Experience in managing others for at least 2 years. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master level degree.
