Key responsibilities: Collaborate closely with the Centre of Excellence RAM Team (CoE RAM) to ensure maintenance updates are in line with terminal feedback, fostering a unified approach to equipment maintenance. Analyze OEM manuals and industry standards to gather data on maintenance tasks, lubricant specifications, and other key information that will form the basis of the lubrication plan, as part of the PMR strategy. Review historical maintenance records to derive insights that will guide the improvement of our strategies. Maintain and update the Lubrication and Fluid (L&F) database with accurate and detailed information on maintenance practices. Develop a reporting framework within the L&F database to monitor maintenance compliance, assess the effectiveness of lubrication, and spot any deviations from the set plans. Apply insights from oil analysis to refine maintenance tasks, ensuring equipment performance is optimized. Assess the conditions of equipment and operations thoroughly to identify specific lubrication needs, tailoring our strategies to meet the unique demands of each terminal. Select and recommend appropriate lubricants, creating detailed reports that aid in maintenance planning and procurement.
The following technical skills are essential: Maintenance and Reliability: Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies, along with basic principles of reliability engineering. Mechanical Skills: Fundamental understanding of mechanical systems, operations, and maintenance requirements. Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems: Basics of hydraulic and pneumatic operations, including maintenance and troubleshooting principles. Lubrication Technology: Principles of lubrication and the importance of selecting and applying appropriate lubricants to machinery. Tribology: Interest in the study of wear, friction, and lubrication, and how they affect machinery operation and maintenance. Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data from oil analyses, OEM manuals, and maintenance records to inform maintenance decisions. Technical Documentation: Skills in reading and applying information from technical documents, such as manuals, maintenance guides and industry standards. Diagnostic Skills: Competence in diagnosing issues in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including familiarity with diagnostic tools for condition monitoring.
What We're Looking For: Education: A recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering. Interest or coursework in tribology and machinery lubrication is a plus. Communication: Strong communication abilities in English, both written and verbal, to effectively share ideas and work within the team. Tech Skills: Competency in basic computer skills, especially MS Office, and an enthusiasm for learning specialized maintenance management software. Drive: A self-motivated and ambitious attitude, with a keen interest in personal and professional development through continuous learning and on-the-job training
