OverviewFacility Overview:M42 in partnering with the UAE Ministry of Defense to operate Zayed Military Hospital in Al Batayeh, Sharjah. This collaboration will provide world-class healthcare to over three million residents in the northern UAE, including military personnel and their families. By integrating top healthcare providers like the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, and Healthpoint, M42 will ensure access to specialized and preventative care. Full-scale operations are set to launch in early 2025.Role Overview:This role leads quality and patient safety initiatives to achieve organizational goals, focusing on quality improvement, regulatory readiness, and patient safety. It implements and evaluates the Patient Safety Program while fostering a culture of safety and driving continuous improvement.Responsibilities
Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Supports quality, patient safety, and accreditation programs through assessments, policy development, and training initiatives.
Leads organizational readiness for accreditation and regulatory activities, including surveys, readiness rounds, and audits.
Manages clinical risk by analyzing incidents, developing action plans, and fostering a safety-focused culture.
Collects, validates, and reports data related to accreditation, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement.
Guides quality improvement efforts through collaboration, education, and implementation of best practices.
Communicates regulatory requirements, fosters trust, and builds relationships to ensure operational alignment with organizational values.
Drives data-informed decision-making to measure outcomes and lead process improvement projects.
QualificationsEducation:
Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in nursing, Healthcare Management or equivalent field.
Experience
Minimum three (3) years in healthcare Quality and Patient Safety are required.
A working knowledge of Quality Improvement principles and oversight of regulatory compliance.
Experienced in a facility accredited by Joint Commission International
Certification and Licensure
Certified Professional in Health Care Quality (CPHQ) or equivalent or within 12 months of hire
