MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLEResearch, compile & monitor statistical data and intelligence required for meeting files, submissions, lobbying campaigns and official correspondence, briefing notes, negotiating papers and product analysis reports, as well as submissions and official responses. Arrange data and information to provide a qualified interpretation for Managers in International Affairs & Public Affairs in a clear, concise and comprehensive manner in order to achieve flydubai aero political and public affairs objectives. Manage and co-ordinate short to medium term projects that focus on public and international affairs initiatives.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct comprehensive numerical analysis to present qualitative and quantitative concepts to support senior management decisions at aero political and public affairs meetings with external parties that will positively impact the company\'s commercial objectives in enhancing and protecting FZ\' traffic rights.
Manage and co-ordinate interactions with internal departments and FZ outstations regarding the information and feedback required for aero political, international and public affairs activities. Maintain a close rapport with relevant government authorities as well as other stakeholders and contacts in the UAE and key foreign countries wit a view of obtaining important data on trade, tourism, investment and issues related to competition.
Closely monitor and interpret media and other sources for aeropolitical trends and political developments in all relevant markets, political environments and airline alliances world-wide which may impact FZ\'s aeropolitical and wider public affairs interests.
Summarise and interpret such developments for Managers International and Public Affairs.
Liaise with the FZ IT department on an ongoing basis in order to ensure a timely resolution of any issues related to required data and to achieve a system upgrade or data enhancement when needed to support
FZ\'s aeropolitical and public affairs objectives. Ensure that periodical data required by the department is received from IT within the scheduled time limit.Conceptualise, initiate, research, disseminate and contribute content in the preparation of researchdocuments,
industry specific submissions, business cases, corporate and public facing presentations, briefing documents, Q&A\'s, speech notes, letters and policy documents to advance public affairs projects and initiatives.
Initiate discussion points, develop ideas and concepts and contribute content to Open Sky - the public affairs journal and other public affairs documents.
Develop department tools and best practice methodology for stakeholder management, media/issues monitoring and information presentation. Manage database creation and the execution of mass HTML mail outs to FZ stakeholders via CheetahMail.
Liaise with consultants, internal departments, industry bodies and external parties for projects involving data sourcing and analysis, translation of content and document production both in Dubai and overseas.
Liaise with Corporate Communications to ensure the timely and accurate internal and external release of documents, press releases and articles. Work closely with specialist departments to ensure the suitability of graphic design content, layout and publishing, as well as the accessibility of online content through design, testing and implementation processes.
Independently handle application processes, deal with civil aviation authorities concerned and obtain necessary government permission for scheduled and ad-hoc freighter services to all countries without an Flydubai office.
Support the Manager International Affairs with all data, documentary and drafting activities related to obtaining government aeropolitical and regulatory approval for code share arrangements with other airlines. Liaise directly with civil aviation authorities concerned as required.
Research and compile data for position papers and briefing notes prepared by Manager International Affairs for FZ Senior Management on various key aeropolitical files and high level negotiations.
Handle all comprehensive start up formalities required to obtain government authorisation and schedule approval for Flydubai operations to new destinations.
Compile periodical statistics, monitor frequencies and seat capacities operated by competitors in certain markets and interpret such operations and trends for Manager International Affairs as required in eachparticular case.
