Officer - Distribution & Integrations - 24000268United Arab EmiratesClosing Date: May 31st 2024MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLETo actively support the distribution specialist in implementing the agreed annual Online Travel Agency (OTA) development strategy, focusing on expanding the OTA database into new markets and increasing OTA revenue contribution and share on flydubai, including promoting new API capabilities, managing digital costs, and coordinating product seminars and familiarization trips.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Recommends innovative strategies to identify and expand the Online travel agency database beyond current markets.
Implements the Integration pipeline proposed by the Distribution specialist and ensures timely completion and delivery of the assigned integration list.
Markets and promotes new Application Programming Interface (API) capabilities to existing Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), ensuring they carry out the necessary technical IT enhancements within their platforms to consume the new APIs.
Plans, implements, and delivers on time the recommended list for migration of Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) from Version 1 to Version 3 API technology.
Assists the SEO specialist in managing digital marketing costs by regularly monitoring, identifying, and controlling Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) bidding strategies on flydubai brand name.
Manages the API support desk efficiently, ensuring prompt handling of all emails related to API troubleshooting.
Coordinates quarterly product seminars and inbound familiarization trips for selected online travel agents to the flydubai campus.
Coordinates with IT departments to ensure seamless integration of new API capabilities into existing systems and platforms.
Conducts regular audits of OTA databases to ensure accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations.
Minimum 3 years of experience in an Airline or travel agency in the business development department.
Experience working with an Online travel agency will be an advantage.
Experience with digital supply chain integrations.
Systems Knowledge (if applicable)
Proficiency in CRM systems for managing relationships with online travel agencies.
Familiarity with API management platforms for overseeing API integration processes.
