Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Office Aide to support our administrative team in a dynamic office environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of daily office activities and providing assistance to various departments as needed.
Responsibilities
• Office Maintenance: Keep the office clean and orderly, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and organizing.
• Refreshments: Serve tea, coffee, and other refreshments to staff and guests as requested.
• Mail and Deliveries: Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages to appropriate departments or personnel.
• Office Supplies: Monitor inventory of office supplies and restock items such as paper, pens, and cleaning products as needed.
• Errands: Run errands for the office, including deliveries, banking, or other office-related tasks.
• Support Staff: Assist office staff with basic tasks such as photocopying, scanning, filing, and organizing documents.
• Visitor Assistance: Greet visitors, guide them to the correct departments, and ensure they are comfortable.
Experience
• Previous experience in an office setting or administrative role is preferred but not essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
