Job Overview:

Scalaria General Contracting Company is looking for a versatile Admin Officer to handle daily administrative tasks, human resources support, and basic bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of multitasking across various operational areas to ensure smooth office and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily office operations, including filing, correspondence, and record-keeping.
• Oversee HR tasks such as employee onboarding, maintaining personnel records, leave tracking, and attendance management.
• Support recruitment processes by posting job ads, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates.
• Handle payroll processing and liaise with the finance team for timely payments.
• Maintain and update office supply inventory and place orders when necessary.
• Assist with bookkeeping activities, including preparing invoices, managing expense reports, and petty cash reconciliation.
• Coordinate meetings, manage calendars, and make travel arrangements for senior staff.
• Prepare and format reports, presentations, and documents for internal and external use.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, including health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in an administrative or HR role, preferably in a construction or engineering firm.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, UAE labor laws, and payroll processes.
• Basic bookkeeping experience, including familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office management tools.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
