We are seeking an experienced Odoo Developer to join our team and help build a custom business management platform using Odoo Community Edition as the backend. This role involves deep customization of Odoo modules, custom API development, and integrating with React. Js-based frontend and a mobile application (Flutter or React Native is a plus).

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Odoo development (v15 or later), API integrations, and database optimization. This is a long-term project with opportunities to work remotely and a potential relocation to Dubai based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

Customize and configure Odoo modules (POS, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, Sales, etc.). Develop custom Odoo add-ons to extend existing functionalities. Build and optimize custom APIs for seamless integration with web and mobile applications. Develop and integrate a React.js-based frontend with the Odoo backend. Work on mobile app development (Flutter/React Native experience is a plus). Implement a role-based access control system with multi-level user permissions. Ensure data security, high performance, and database optimization. Handle third-party integrations with external platforms. Debug, maintain, and enhance Odoo performance for scalability.

Required Skills & Experience

1 to 3 years of experience in Odoo development (Odoo Community v15+). Strong Python and PostgreSQL skills with expertise in Odoo ORM. Experience in custom API development for Odoo integration. React.js development experience is a must (frontend or API integrations). Familiarity with mobile app development (Flutter or React Native is a plus). Strong understanding of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and multi-company setups. Experience in third-party API integrations (payment gateways, logistics, etc.). Ability to optimize database queries for scalability and performance.

Nice to Have(+Experience)

Experience deploying Odoo on AWS or cloud-based environments. Previous work in POS system customization and enhancements. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines for Odoo deployments. Exposure to multi-tenant Odoo environments.

Step 1: Technical Assessment (Mandatory)

Before proceeding to interviews, candidates must complete an assignment:

Assessment Task

Develop a custom Odoo module that exports data from any one Odoo module (e.g., POS, Sales) and sends it to https://webhook.site, where the data can be viewed.

The exported data should be structured properly (JSON format).

Push your code to GitHub and submit the repository link along with the webhook site URL where we can verify the data.

? Deadline: You must complete and submit the assessment before moving to the next round.

Step 1: Three-Round Interview Process

Round 1: Live Technical Testing (Hands-on Development)

You will be given a live coding challenge related to Odoo customization, API development, and integration with React.js or external services.

You will be asked to debug or optimize an existing Odoo module in real time.

Round 2: Meeting with Higher Authority (System Design & Architecture)

This round will focus on your problem-solving skills, system architecture knowledge, and scalability techniques.

You will discuss Odoo deployment strategies, API security, database optimizations, and module customization best practices.

Round 3: HR Discussion & Offer Negotiation

This round will cover salary, benefits, work expectations, and potential relocation to Dubai for top-performing candidates.
