Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Odoo Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and leverage the Odoo ERP system to streamline accounting processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in Odoo, and a commitment to delivering accurate financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy in financial data entry and reporting.
• Odoo Expertise: Utilize the Odoo ERP system for financial transactions, reporting, and process automation.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee invoice processing, payment schedules, and collections using Odoo.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Tax Compliance: Prepare and file VAT/GST returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Reporting: Generate and present financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Audit Support: Prepare documentation and provide support during internal and external audits.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and ensure best practices are followed within Odoo.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent is a plus).
• Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Odoo ERP system is mandatory.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial tools.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations (if applicable).
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration across teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
