Responsibilities: . Implement and enforce local health and safety regulations and company-specific safety protocols. . Stay updated on UAE labor laws and international safety standards, ensuring compliance. . Assist in conducting risk assessments and audits to identify hazards in the workplace. . Develop and update health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to align with regulations. . Conduct regular safety drills (fire, emergency evacuation, first-aid) and training sessions to enhance staff awareness. . Promote safety culture across the organization by encouraging safe work practices and behaviors. . Investigate accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to identify causes and implement corrective actions. . Ensure proper documentation of incidents and near-misses, preparing detailed reports for management. . Track safety performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement. . Monitor the environmental impact of the company's operations, ensuring compliance with relevant environmental regulations. . Promote sustainability and environmentally responsible practices within the organization. Requirements: . The candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in the relevant field. . A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field is preferred. . Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are highly desirable. .
