Nursery Teacher - British Curriculum (Dubai and Abu Dhabi)

NURSERY TEACHER (Native English Speaker)
Our client is looking for highly motivated preschool teachers to join their British Nurseries based in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The teacher will be responsible for the daily activities and have responsibility for the design and implementation of the daily educational program of the class. The teacher will be supervising the teaching assistants and will implement learning experiences that advance the intellectual, emotional, social and physical development of the children within a safe and healthy learning environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• To ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for the children placed in the school.
• Support the development of the children\'s listening, language and communication skills whilst encouraging their interest in literature and imaginative play.
• Encourage the children\'s mathematical knowledge in a practical and play based way.
• Broaden children\'s experience and knowledge through computer technology and science.
• Develop children\'s physical awareness through games and play based activities.
• To organize and lead activities to promote all areas of development, such as song and music, dance and movement, theatre and drama, art and design, storytelling, imaginative play, games etc.
• Build good, open communication with children, families and staff
• To supervise, evaluate and instruct teaching assistants and nannies.
• Ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Observe and record children\'s growth, development and behavior using portfolios
• Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe
• Help develop teaching goals for the center and its teachers
• Undertake administrative tasks as required

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or Cache 3 Diploma
• Experience working in a childcare setting (EYFS) in UK, USA, South Africa, Canada, Australia or New Zealand
• Fantastic organizational and teamwork skills
• Written and verbal communication skills in English
• A good level of computer literacy
• A good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework

Locations - Al Safa, Dubai Land, Umm Suqeim and Abu Dhabi,

Salary : AED 8000 - 11000

Timing: 7.30 AM - 3.30 PM
