Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development:
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities and lessons that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or equivalent curriculum, promoting child development in all key areas (cognitive, social, emotional, physical).
Child Development:
Monitor and assess the developmental progress of each child, tailoring your approach to meet the individual needs of children in your care.
Classroom Management:
Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children. Foster positive behavior and encourage cooperative play.
Parental Engagement:
Establish open, regular communication with parents, providing updates on children's progress, challenges, and achievements. Organize parent meetings and events.
Observations and Record-Keeping:
Conduct regular observations of children's progress and maintain detailed records for individual development. Prepare reports for parents and management as required.
Health and Safety:
Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed, including maintaining a clean and safe environment and promoting good hygiene practices.
Collaboration:
Work closely with fellow teachers and nursery staff, sharing ideas and best practices to enhance the overall educational experience for children.
Safeguarding:
Uphold the nursery's safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the safety and protection of every child in your care.

Engage in continuous professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in early childhood education.
