To be responsible for the day to day running and responsibility of the school

To ensure Policies and Procedures are maintained at all times by all staff.

To take responsibility for the welfare of the children and employees of the nursery.

To build strong team spirit in the school

To serve as the educational leader.

To be responsible for managing the policies, regulations and procedures.

To ensure that all children are supervised in a safe and stimulating learning environment that meets the mission and ethos of the school.

To achieve academic excellence by working collaboratively, directing and nurturing all members of the school staff hired by the nursery and to communicate effectively with parents.

To be responsible for scheduling, curriculum development, extracurricular activities, personnel management, emergency procedures, and facility operations

Responsibility for the daily running and administration of the nursery whilst adhering to the Policies & Procedures

The efficient organisation, management and supervision of school routines.

Complete in a timely fashion all records and reports as requested.

Develop and maintain an understanding of SEN.

Supervision of the planning and preparation of activities to develop all aspects of the child's individual development in a stimulating atmosphere. These adhere to LLN systems and standards, whilst considering current research.

To be responsible for progress and support in the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.

Working with colleagues to implement coaching and mentoring systems to ensure the support and development of all staff performance within the school.

Making effective use of staff expertise

Liaison with parents and negotiations within the team ensuring effective communication within the nursery.
