Job Description

Job Purpose:

To assist in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and intellectual development. The Nursery Assistant Teacher will work closely with lead teachers to implement activities that foster learning and growth in a safe, nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support Classroom Activities:

Assist in planning and organizing educational activities, games, and arts/crafts. Help prepare materials and resources for lessons and activities. Support the lead teacher in implementing the daily schedule and maintaining classroom routines.

2. Child Supervision and Care:

Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times. Provide comfort and reassurance to children as needed. Assist children with eating, dressing, and personal hygiene as required.

3. Monitoring and Reporting:

Observe children's development and report any concerns to the lead teacher. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and behavior. Monitor and support children in their play and group activities.

4. Supporting Learning and Development:

Encourage children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through positive reinforcement and gentle guidance. Foster a love of learning through play-based methods. Assist with developing individual learning plans for children, when necessary.

5. Supporting the Lead Teacher:

Collaborate with the lead teacher in the classroom to ensure effective teaching and learning. Attend meetings and participate in training as required. Help with administrative tasks related to the classroom, such as filing, photocopying, and organizing resources.

Qualifcations:

Bachelor's Degree holder with attested certificate.

Prior experience in UAE is added advantage
