:Our client, a leading semi-government hospital, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead their Pediatric Department. The ideal candidate will possess over 7 years of experience in pediatric nursing, with a background in Western European healthcare systems or education. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care and nursing practice. In this role, your responsibilities would include but not limited to:
  • Department Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Pediatric Department, including staff supervision, scheduling, and resource allocation. Ensure the department runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Clinical Leadership: Provide leadership in maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. Develop, implement, and monitor clinical protocols and policies to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Staff Management: Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs.
  • Patient Care Excellence: Ensure that pediatric patients receive compassionate, high-quality care. Address patient and family concerns promptly and effectively, enhancing the overall patient experience.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits. Analyze patient care data and implement strategies to improve departmental performance and patient outcomes.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including doctors and administrative staff, to ensure integrated and effective patient care.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the department adheres to all relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements. Stay updated on changes in healthcare legislation and best practices.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing (required); Masters degree in Nursing or Healthcare Management (preferred). Western European qualifications or education are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in pediatric nursing, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role. Proven experience in Western European healthcare settings or educational background is essential.
  • Current and valid nursing license, with eligibility for licensure in Dubai (or ability to obtain).
  • Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a deep understanding of pediatric nursing practices and healthcare systems.
  • Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Willing to work 48 hours per week
  • Willing to be based in Dubai, UAE
