Job Summary:

The Night Incharge is responsible for overseeing the night operations of the supermarket, ensuring smooth functioning, stock management, staff supervision, and security. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and operational skills to maintain efficiency during non-business hours.

Key Responsibilities:1. Store Operations:

Oversee overall supermarket operations during the night shift. Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed. Monitor stock replenishment and shelf arrangements. Ensure FIFO (First-In-First-Out) method is followed for stock management. Address any urgent operational issues that arise during the shift.

2. Inventory & Stock Control:

Supervise night-time deliveries and ensure proper unloading and stocking. Conduct stock checks and report discrepancies to the Store Manager. Coordinate with the inventory team to maintain proper stock levels.

3. Staff Management:

Lead and manage the night shift team, including cashiers, shelf stockers, and cleaners. Assign tasks and monitor employee performance. Ensure all employees adhere to company policies and safety regulations.

4. Customer Service & Sales Support:

Assist late-night customers with inquiries and complaints. Ensure the store remains well-lit, clean, and organized. Support cashiering and billing processes if required.

5. Safety & Security:

Ensure store security protocols are followed, including monitoring CCTV. Coordinate with security personnel for any safety concerns. Handle emergency situations such as power failures or system issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years in retail/FMCG supermarket operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

Education:

High school diploma or higher (degree in business/retail management is a plus).

Skills:

Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Basic knowledge of inventory management. Good communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus). Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and supermarket operations.

Working Conditions:

Night shift role, requiring flexibility in working hours. Physically demanding - standing for long hours, lifting stock when needed.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,700.00 per month
