You will be responsible for developing a responsive and scalable web interface, ensuring seamless communication between the frontend and our legacy backend system.

You will be responsible for developing a responsive and scalable web interface, ensuring seamless communication between the frontend and our legacy backend system.

Responsibilities:
Develop a modern frontend using Next.js (React-based framework)
Integrate the Next.js frontend with our Yii 1.1 backend API
Optimize the frontend for speed, performance, and SEO
Implement responsive UI/UX designs using Tailwind CSS / Bootstrap / Custom Styles
Manage authentication and state management (JWT, Session, or relevant methods)
Debug and troubleshoot frontend/backend communication issues
Ensure security best practices when interacting with the backend
Work closely with backend developers to design and implement APIs if needed

Requirements:
4+ years of experience in React.js / Next.js development
Strong experience with RESTful API integration
Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript (optional but preferred)
Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or other UI frameworks
Experience working with legacy backend systems (Yii 1.1 experience is a plus)
Knowledge of SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and SSG (Static Site Generation) in Next.js
Understanding of SEO principles and performance optimization
Experience with authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, etc.)
Version control experience (Git/GitHub/GitLab)

Nice to Have:
Experience with Yii 1.1 or other PHP frameworks
Knowledge of REST, GraphQL and modern API strategies
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
Experience with Docker, Vercel, or AWS for Next.js hosting

Compensation: AED 13,000//
