Editing newsletter;
Working with reporters, defining the publications news agenda;
Working with sources to develop and cover stories;
Assigning, fact-checking, editing, and publishing stories;
Breaking and writing news when needed;
Participating in editorial meetings and assisting in implementing an editorial strategy.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you should have:
Degree in Journalism;
3+ years in a newsroom with full-time experience managing reporters and editing breaking and daily stories.
Prior crypto reporting and editing experience;
The ability to work in the US/EST time zone is a must!
A track record of interviewing and interacting with primary sources, developing relationships with sources, breaking scoops;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
A highly organized, resourceful, and proactive self-starter committed to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
