This role provides exposure to the end-to-end buying process, from product selection to in-season trading, and offers a great learning opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in fashion buying and merchandising.Buying & Product Selection Support
Assist the buying team in preparing for seasonal buying sessions, including compiling buy files, creating collection overviews, and organizing relevant data
Conduct market and competitor research to support product selection and pricing decisions
Help with trend analysis by monitoring industry reports, social media, and influencers to identify emerging fashion trends
Support in curating product assortments tailored to each market, considering local preferences and trends
Merchandising & In-Season Trading
Assist in updating and maintaining merchandising calendars to ensure timely product launches
Track and analyze weekly sales performance, identifying bestsellers and slow movers
Provide recommendations based on in-season trading data to optimize stock allocations and markdown strategies
Monitor inventory levels to ensure the right stock is available at the right time across different channels (retail, e-commerce)
Operational & Administrative Support
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Retail, E-commerce, Digital, Supply Chain, and Marketing) to facilitate smooth product launches and replenishment strategies
Ensure all product data and pricing are accurately recorded in internal systems
Assist in managing purchase orders, order confirmations, and delivery tracking
Maintain clear documentation and reports to support the buying team in decision-making
Trend & Market Analysis
Monitor seasonal trends and provide insights on consumer preferences
Track competitor pricing and promotional strategies to support strategic pricing decisions
Assist in developing mood boards and product inspiration presentations for internal meetings

What you'll need to succeedSKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Business, Retail Management, or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint required; experience with data analysis tools is a plus)
Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
Passion for fashion, retail, and consumer trends
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines
Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
