Managed SOC - Fortinet Only solution stack Job Summary : The SOC Network Security Engineer (Fortinet Specialist) will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security operations for our managed SOC across customers. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing and securing various Fortinet tools, including FortiGate, FortiClient, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, FortiTokens, FortiAuthenticator, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, SANDBOX, NDR, SIEM, FortiSOAR, and FortiRecon. Key Responsibilities : - Design, configure, and deploy Fortinet security solutions for the Managed SOC environment. - Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions to safeguard sensitive information using Fortinet products. - Maintain and enhance endpoint security solutions with FortiClient. - Administer and secure VMware environments to ensure virtualization security. - Configure and monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) solutions, particularly FortiAnalyzer and FortiSOAR, for proactive threat detection and response. - Manage and secure network devices and solutions, including FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitch, and FortiAP. - Utilize FortiManager for centralized management of Fortinet security solutions. - Implement and manage two-factor authentication with FortiTokens and identity management with FortiAuthenticator. - Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and address security weaknesses. - Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulations. - Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement network security architectures and strategies using Fortinet tools. - Investigate and respond to security incidents, providing timely resolution and detailed incident reports. - Stay updated with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats to continuously improve the organization's security posture. Vendor Requirements and Solutions : Fortinet Tools : - FortiGate: Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs) for network security. - FortiClient: VPN client software for secure remote access. - FortiAnalyzer: Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) for threat detection and response. - FortiManager: Centralized management of Fortinet security solutions. - FortiTokens: Two-factor authentication for enhanced security. - FortiAuthenticator: Identity management for secure user authentication. - FortiSwitch: Secure Ethernet switches for campus and data centre environments. - FortiAP: Wireless access points for secure wireless networking. - FortiSOAR: Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response for advanced security operations. - FortiRecon: External attack surface management for proactive threat identification. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or in a similar role, specifically with Fortinet tools. - In-depth knowledge of Fortinet security principles, protocols, and technologies. - Hands-on experience with FortiGate, FortiClient, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, FortiTokens, FortiAuthenticator, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FORTISANDBOX, FORTINDR, FortiSIEM, FortiSOAR, and FortiRecon. - Relevant certifications such as Fortinet NSE, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
