We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Network Operations Manager to join our client, a global leader in telecommunications in Qatar. You will be responsible for leading the operations and maintenance of our telecommunications network infrastructure in the Middle East region. Job REF: NOMD04 Location: Doha, Qatar Job type: 2 year contract extendable Benefits: Competitive salary+ Visa & Sponsorship + Medical insurance Key Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Lead and motivate a team of network engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional development. \xc2\xb7 Oversee the day-to-day operations of the telecommunications network, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of network issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. \xc2\xb7 Develop and implement incident management processes and procedures to respond promptly and effectively to network outages, service disruptions, and other critical incidents. \xc2\xb7 Manage changes to the network infrastructure, ensuring that all changes are properly planned, tested, and implemented in accordance with company policies and industry best practices. \xc2\xb7 Monitor network performance metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to enhance network reliability, capacity, and efficiency. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of network services and support, negotiate service contracts, and oversee vendor performance. \xc2\xb7 Conduct capacity planning and forecasting to anticipate future network growth and expansion requirements, ensuring that the network infrastructure can support the evolving needs of the business and our customers. Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in telecommunications, computer science, or a related field. Master\'s degree preferred. \xc2\xb7 8+ years of experience in network operations and management in the telecommunications industry. \xc2\xb7 Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of technical professionals. \xc2\xb7 Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Arabic is desirable. \xc2\xb7 Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, ITIL, or PMP are a plus. \xc2\xb7 In-depth knowledge of telecommunications network technologies, protocols, and standards, including IP/MPLS, DWDM, LTE, and 5G. \xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of network management tools, monitoring systems, and performance analytics platforms.
