Responsibilities Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the Network Administration Section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures. Serves as administration and maintenance of company's network infrastructure including troubleshooting of data cabling. Maintain Internet security and monitoring network traffic, and activity, capacity and usage to ensure continued integrity and optimal network performance. Install, support, and maintain hardware and software infrastructure according to best practices, including routers, switches, WIFI controllers, and firewalls. Deploy, configure, and monitor intrusion prevention systems to detect and respond to potential security threats. Oversee proxy server infrastructure, ensuring proper configuration and reliable performance for web traffic management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining high availability. Develop and implement network security policies, protocols, and procedures to maintain data privacy and compliance. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies and provide recommendations for network infrastructure improvements. Perform network security design and integration. Diagnose problems and solve issues, often under time constraints. Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, success of changes made to the network infrastructure. Provide network and host-based security, incident response, firewall and administration. Implement the necessary controls and procedures to protect information systems assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure, or destruction. Assist in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration and security best practices. Monitor network usage, anticipate problems, and suggest solutions. Assist in the network inventory and asset record maintenance. Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work. Support in Project coordination and execution and perform the needed connectivity requirement. Provide Support for DDW Clients pertaining to provisioning of internet services and 4G/5G Setup. Researching, analyzing, evaluating, and monitoring network infrastructure to ensure networks are configured to operate at optimal performance. Technical evaluation and procuring new products and services from vendors. Configuration of PABX, Time attendance and Biometric Access Control. Data center, cooling, and environment monitoring. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Information Technology or equivalent. Computer Network Systems and troubleshooting. 7+ years relevant experience in a large organization. Thorough knowledge in implementing, administering, installation and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, including firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points and controllers, and monitoring applications. Knowledgeable in application transport and network infrastructure protocols (SSL/TLS, DNS, DHCP, WINS, NTP, FTP, SMTP, CIFS, LDAP, and Microsoft AD), and possess an understanding of how to support these applications / protocols when accessed through VPN and firewall appliances. Comfortable documenting and explaining network topologies. Strong background with Firewall Technologies such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc. Strong background with resolution of technical issues during planning and execution phases. Strong background with Wireless Setup (Configuration, Setup, Administration, and Troubleshooting). Strong background with Internet Proxy Setup and Intrusion prevention Systems. Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and successfully execute tasks in accordance with departmental / project objectives. Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technologies and products, independently using documentation and online resources. Very good knowledge in technical terms and report writing skills.
