Job Description

Our client is seeking a Network Engineer to assist in the development and



maintenance of the teams exceptional level of service and enhance their network to



meet the company's growing needs. The candidate will play a crucial role in driving



automation to achieve greater standardization.



The ability to communicate effectively and maintain strong interpersonal relationships



is crucial when collaborating with colleagues globally within the firm. Your duties



encompass the identification and resolution of issues, the coordination and



implementation of deployments, and the improvement and automation of systems



whenever possible. The position necessitates a steadfast commitment to precision and



the upkeep of thorough documentation.



A typical day in the Network Engineering team includes:

Collaborating on cross-team design projects, including the establishment of new



data centers and collocations, optimizing WAN routing, and other related



initiatives.



Engaging with stakeholders to identify necessary requirements and networking



functionalities needed to support the business. Our team is actively involved in



supporting various initiatives, alongside our efforts to streamline network design,



automate processes, and enhance documentation. This approach aims to



minimize outages and expedite issue resolution.



What we need from you:

7+ years of experience operating and deploying network infrastructure



3+ years of experience in ground-up network design



Experience with routing and network protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, PIM-SM)



Experience troubleshooting transport protocols (e.g., TCP/UDP)



Experience working with Windows, Linux, and proficient in a programming



language



Ideally experience with overlay networks (e.g., EVPN, VxLAN)



Eagerness to automate your workflow to increase efficiency



High capacity to learn; we are more interested in how you think than what you



already know



High capacity for context switching and organizing your workload



Clear communication skills with the ability to maintain a high degree of customer



service



A flexible and reliable team player who enjoys working in a collaborative



environment



Fluency in English is required
