Primarily responsible for maintaining and supporting the entire university network infrastructure. Also work with senior engineers on tuning and solving complex issues. \xe2\x80\xa2 Resolves network-related problems on a daily basis. \xe2\x80\xa2 Configures, tests, and maintains LAN/WAN equipment and related services \xe2\x80\xa2 Design, install and configure the entire Wireless and Wired Network Infrastructure of the university campus. \xe2\x80\xa2 Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network problems. \xe2\x80\xa2 Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain and support University\xe2\x80\x99s LAN/WAN environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Analyzes complex data, voice or video network documentation and communicates to senior management regarding the current operational status of networks. \xe2\x80\xa2 Determines methods and procedures to be implemented and used on the most complex new technologies to enhance performance. \xe2\x80\xa2 In support of change management within the data center, provides high quality network documentation to the Help Desk (Logical and Physical layouts) of all UAE University sites. \xe2\x80\xa2 Participates to execution of networking projects: (Site visits, Preparing Request for Proposal, RFQ, technical evaluation, installation, implementation and commissioning). \xe2\x80\xa2 Installs and configures wireless networks across various campuses of the university \xe2\x80\xa2 Upgrades networks and provides high level of support at all times. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensures LAN / WAN continuing functionality by using network monitoring and management tools. \xe2\x80\xa2 Troubleshooting and problem solving of structured cabling systems. \xe2\x80\xa2 Research Network monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting. \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for ongoing support and maintenance of wired and wireless networks in all housing units (Hostels) for the students of the university. \xe2\x80\xa2 Campus wide Wireless Infrastructure monitoring, support and tuning assistance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintains up to date network documentation \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible to adhere with all information security policies and procedures of the university. \xe2\x80\xa2 Other duties as assignedMinimum Qualification

• Bachelor degree required in Computer Engineering/Science \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 1 qualification/certification such as CCNA or JNCIA with one major manufacturer like Cisco, Juniper. \xe2\x80\xa2 2-3 years of experience in a networking position.
