The ERP administrator reporting to the Head of information systems will have a hands-on key role to assure the successful management of the Oracle NetSuite ERP and related applications for Allied gold and its subsidiaries. The role is responsible for the overall management of all things ERP to ensure the system integrity as well as meet SLAs.

Outcomes:
In line with the ERP projects Program, participate in the planning and successfully deliver the agreed milestone within the Oracle NetSuite ERP application and potentially other integrated information systems. The role is required to Interact at all levels of the business to provide everything from support to adding new features and be the focal point and subject matter expert for Oracle NetSuite ERP.
Responsibilities:
The Role has the responsibility to perform the following activities which include but are not limited to:
Implement, administer, and maintain changes to the ERP and related tools
Manage subscriptions, storage, and licensing requirements
Identify, diagnose, escalate, and resolve technical problems
Support business units in period-end closing activities.
User maintenance: setup, profiles, roles, permissions, groups and maintain an up-to-date security access matrix.
Create and customize standard and custom objects including fields (including formula fields), page layouts, security rules, workflow, and validation rules
Build, analyze and enhance reports, dashboards, scorecards that evaluate current and future goals against performance and provide guidance on NetSuite data extraction
Create and maintain integrations, including web services and ETL.
Coordinate data management, cleansing and master data upload into NetSuite and ensure data quality is maintained
Provide day-to-day ERP support for 200+ users (User setup, Page layouts, list views, security privileges, database structure, validation rules, custom objects, queue and case
creation, workflow, and continuously editing the lead assignment rules) Escalate issues to IT as needed.
Research changes in upcoming ERP releases and other integrated applications; provide recommendations when necessary to enhance efficiency and productivity. Consult fellow staff regarding implications to the business and to the current ERP instance.
Actively participate in build processes, sandbox configurations, focus groups and overall change management process and identify any applicable areas of improvement
Continuously monitor and analyse ERP functionality usage and analyse opportunity to increase adoption
Ensure proper documentation of Business Requirements, Training Materials, Functional Design, Process & Data Flows, Use Cases & Test Plans/Scripts
Organize various on premise/online training sessions for end users and ensure any training sessions meet objectives.
Participate in user requirement sessions and document user requirements to address changing business needs.
Prepare project documentation and follow PMO standards.
Initiate and manage ERP change request within the Service desk environment
Perform periodical ERP audit activities in compliance with Information Systems audit guidance
Participate in information systems Risk Management and remediation activities
Requirements:
TECHNICAL:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (CS) or Computer Information Systems (CIS) or MIS or equivalent.
Minimum (5) years of experience in implementing, configuring, and customizing NetSuite.
Minimum (5) successfully project delivery of NetSuite ERP.
Preferably have had experience with multiple ERPs and business applications Ability to interact with business users and translate business needs into solutions. Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
Strong functional and/or technical background in business applications. Familiar with SDLC models and managing integrations Preferably have had some scripting or coding experience Exposure to Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM). Exposure to Supply Chain functions, such as materials and services procurement, inventory management, finance, and production. Exposure to Job contracting, Project Management and Maintenance Management.
Exposure to HRMS and Payroll functions is a plus.
Preferably have had experience with drafting RFPs/RFIs.
Experience participating in building solutions and strategizing for information systems.
