We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Neonatologist to join our team. The Neonatologist will be responsible for providing specialized medical care to newborn infants who are premature, critically ill or have other health conditions requiring special treatments. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care for these tiny patients.Responsibilities:- Conducting comprehensive assessments on newborn infants to determine their medical conditions and treatment plans- Providing specialized care to newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) including ventilation, radiography, blood transfusions, and other treatments- Monitoring the development and progress of premature or critically ill infants and making necessary adjustments to their treatment plans- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, nurses, and respiratory therapists, to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation- Educating parents or caregivers on the care and treatment of their newborns- Staying up-to-date with advancements in Neonatology and incorporating new techniques and treatments into practiceRequirements:- Medical degree from an accredited medical school- Completed residency training in Pediatrics and at least 2 years of fellowship training in Neonatology- Board certification in Neonatology- Current state medical license and DEA registration- Strong diagnostic and treatment skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment- Flexibility to work various shifts and handle on-call hours- Excellent time-management and organizational skills- Compassion and empathy towards newborn patients and their familiesBenefits:At Wizejob HR Consultancy, we value our employees and offer a comprehensive benefits package.
