We are currently seeking four experienced and qualified NDT Handling Tool Technicians to join our team. The NDT Handling Tool Technicians will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and operation of non-destructive testing (NDT) handling tools and equipment in oilfield environments. This role requires strong technical expertise, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections, testing, and maintenance of NDT handling tools and equipment, including crawlers, scanners, probes, and related tools.
• Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) using techniques such as liquid penetrant testing (LPT), magnetic particle inspection (MPI), ultrasonic testing (UT), and radiographic testing (RT) in accordance with industry standards and specifications.
• Interpret and evaluate NDT test results, documenting findings accurately and comprehensively.
• Set up and operate NDT handling tools and equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
• Collaborate with NDT inspectors, engineers, and project teams to plan and execute inspection activities effectively.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of NDT equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to company and regulatory safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, maintenance activities, and equipment inventory.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and assist in training junior technicians as needed.



Qualifications

• Level II certifications in at least two of the following NDT methods: Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), or Radiographic Testing (RT).
• Mechanical diploma or any technical diploma related to NDT or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five years of experience in oilfield or related industries, with hands-on experience in NDT handling tool operations and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of NDT principles, techniques, and equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedural documents.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Physical capability to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in various environments, including offshore and remote locations, and to adhere to rotational schedules if required.

Physical demands and work environment:

• Ability to work around moving machinery
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and/or ramps while carrying tools requiring a reasonable degree of physical stamina and agility and involving moderate to severe physical exertion
• Ability to comprehend, remember, and follow verbal and written directions and comply with Company policies, procedures and standard.
