About NDT Coordinator (with RPO Experience)
The NDT Coordinator with RPO experience will oversee and coordinate non-destructive testing activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. This role involves managing inspection schedules, documentation, and ensuring safety protocols for radiation-related tasks in accordance with FANR regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• NDT Methods Expertise: Proficient in various Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods, including Ultrasonic Testing (UT) for weld scans and corrosion mapping, Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Positive Material Identification (PMI), Computed Radiography Testing (CRT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Safe Radiation (SAFE RAD), Hardness Testing, etc.
• Coordination & Oversight: Oversee and coordinate the service inspection and NDT activities. Ensure smooth scheduling and execution of daily site operations, collaborating with various teams to guarantee adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Documentation Management: Maintain and organize all QA/QC documentation, including NDT reports, daily site reports, procedures/specifications, and other project-related documents. Ensure all records comply with project and regulatory standards.
• Inspection Coordination: Collaborate with site and section teams to plan, coordinate, and track inspection and testing activities, ensuring they align with the project's scope and timelines.
• Supervision of Inspections: Supervise inspection and testing processes to ensure comprehensive reporting and records compilation. Ensure all activities meet project requirements and industry standards.
• Contractor Liaison: Communicate effectively with contractor representatives to coordinate field inspection and test schedules, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Radiation Safety Compliance: Knowledgeable in handling radiation-related work, adhering to industry standards, and ensuring safety protocols are in place for radiation exposure.
• FANR Regulation Awareness: Well-versed in FANR regulations and requirements, ensuring all activities involving radiation comply with these standards.
• Radiation Material Management: Oversee the ordering, storage, security, use, and disposal of radioactive materials in compliance with FANR regulations.
• e-Licensing System Management: Utilize the FANR e-licensing system to manage and apply for the necessary permits, ensuring all documentation is up to date and compliant with regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Proven experience in NDT coordination and RPO-related activities.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (FANR) and industry best practices.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
