The successful candidate will spearhead IMU industrialization activities, contribute to fixture development, and ensure adherence to industry best practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovation and excellence in the production of cutting-edge navigation systems.Key Accountabilities:
Lead the establishment of the IMU production infrastructure, including managing and maintaining the test facility and equipment.
Collaborate with the development management team to select suitable equipment and facilities for IMU test, evaluation, and production.
Specify fixture requirements for Navigation team products on applicable test equipment.
Develop and execute fixture and test equipment verification processes and plans.
Drive the industrialization development of designated IMUs for local development efforts.
Continuously review IMU and sensor test facilities and procure test equipment as needed.
Support the development of IMU calibration methods, techniques, and algorithms.
Liaise with suppliers to resolve technical issues during development.
Provide technical support to the production team regarding integration and performance issues of the IMU.
Advise management on production implications for long-term IMU development strategy.
Stay updated on the latest industry knowledge, technologies, and regulations related to IMU production processes.
Generate essential process documentation and artifacts to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Support ongoing production by implementing and monitoring production metrics.
Offer problem-solving support for issues arising in production.
Experience & Education Qualifications:
Minimum: Graduate.
Preferred: 5+ years of exposure in IMU industrialization and production in a defense environment.
Minimum: Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or similar.
Preferred: Master\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, and/or a Master\'s degree in business management.
Detailed technical knowledge of IMU manufacturing and industrialization processes.
Familiarity with IMU test equipment and verification methods.
Proficiency in debugging IMU technical issues and knowledge of the latest IMU-related technologies.
Understanding of the APQP framework.
