Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a responsible, reliable, and caring person to provide high-quality care for a child ( 7-8 years old) , with a strong emphasis on homework support and educational enrichment. The ideal candidate will have a solid educational background and experience in assisting children with their schoolwork. In addition to child care duties, the candidate will be responsible for transportation of the child to and from school and supporting the personal, social, and academic growth of the child.

Key Responsibilities:

• Child Care:
• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Organize and lead daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and bedtime.
• Help children develop social skills, manners, and emotional regulation through positive reinforcement and communication.
• Homework Support:
• Assist children with their homework assignments, providing guidance and clarification when needed.
• Foster a positive learning environment by helping children stay organized and motivated to complete their tasks.
• Communicate with parents about children's academic progress, any challenges they may face, and provide suggestions for improvement.
• Educational Enrichment:
• Plan and lead activities to enhance educational development, such as reading, math games, and other intellectually stimulating activities.
• Promote a love of learning by encouraging curiosity and problem-solving skills.
• Transportation :
• Drive children to and from school, extracurricular activities, and appointments as needed.
• Ensure safety during transport and timely arrivals.
• Experience:
• Proven experience in child care, tutoring, or teaching children, particularly with school-age children.
• Experience assisting with homework and providing educational support.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children and parents.
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude in managing children's needs.
• Strong organizational skills to help children stay on track with schoolwork and daily tasks.
• Licensing and Certifications:
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Personal Traits:
• Friendly, nurturing, and compassionate demeanor.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
