Job Overview

A Multi Technician in our home maintenance company is a versatile and skilled professional responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks in residential settings. This role requires expertise in various trades, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical work, carpentry, and general handyman services. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing high-quality service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• General Maintenance and Repairs :
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting tasks.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, providing effective and timely solutions.
• Plumbing :
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures, including faucets, toilets, and water heaters.
• Address minor leaks, clogs, and drainage issues.
• HVAC :
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Perform minor repairs and replacements on heating and cooling units.

• Electrical Work :
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and fixtures such as outlets, switches, and lighting.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Carpentry :
• Perform carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, windows, cabinets, and other wooden structures.
• Install shelves, cabinetry, and other fixtures as needed.
• Customer Service :
• Interact professionally with clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or questions.
• Communicate effectively to understand customer needs and explain the scope of work and timelines.
• Safety and Compliance :
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Documentation :
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including details of repairs, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
• Provide reports and updates to management as required.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience :
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar multi-skilled maintenance role.
• Technical Skills :
• Proficiency in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, HVAC, and general handyman services.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Certifications :
• Relevant certifications in trades such as plumbing, electrical, or HVAC are a plus.
• Soft Skills :
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical Requirements :
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environmental conditions.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
