Nair Systems is currently looking MSSQL Database Administrator for our Qatar operations with the following terms & conditions. Education: . University Degree (IT) . Professional Certifications . Mandate to have a MSSQL Certification. Additional qualifications: . English - Fluently Oral & Written . Excellent Computer literacy Work experience: . 5-6 years of SQL Server Administration experience Professional experience: . Working knowledge of SQL Server Administration, PostgreSQL DBA, Oracle DBA . Working knowledge of event, incident & problem management processes and tools . must have previous experience in managing CRM application Database, SSIS, SSRS, and other related third party tools. Positive attitude and personal motivation MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: . Previous experience in supporting SQL databases for Microsoft CRM application. . Managing & Responsible for SQL Server versions from 2016 - 2022 across the platforms and very good knowledge on 2019/2022 best features for DBA as well as for application performance maintenance. . Installation and Configure SQL Server Database Servers as per CIS policy. . Strong knowledge on Windows Failover cluster and Configuration of SQL failover cluster, SQL Alwayson Feature with best Industry standards. . Strong experience on High Availability features like failover clustering and Always ON are used for Mission Critical Database which ensure the availability of Database. . Very Strong knowledge on use of Always ON secondary for Read only connections like SSRS, SSIS, Power BI Tools. . Very strong Knowledge on use of SSRS and Power BI tools to build the DBA Related reports like SQL server Inventory, SQL Patch Update history, DB Growth statistics. . Upgrade/Migration of MS SQL Server to higher versions using any suitable approach. . Strong knowledge on build the SQL Queries on Monitoring SQL Server components. . Monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security. . Proactively managing the Database Fragmentation to optimize the Application performance weekly basis. . Troubleshooting skills on Alwayson errors and SQL failover cluster errors and on Daily DBA Duties. . Use of extended events to capture the DDL events on the Database. . Query optimizing and Performance Tuning, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools. . Using SQL Server tools such as Profiler, SSMS, SSCM, DMVs, SQL Audits . Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention. . Suggested Disk Capacity, Processors and Memory based on the Capacity planning. . Using Scripting language like PowerShell, Batch script for Alerts and managing the SQL Database baselines . Having hands on experience in DR processes including Clustering and Always ON . Experience in Importing and Exporting SQL Server data. (SSIS). between SQL Server & Oracle 12c and 19c systems. . Hands on experience in Database Backup and Recovery procedures. . Checking the status of Backup troubleshooting the failed backups and Restoration of databases . Providing 24x7 support for critical Production systems. . Experience in PostgreSQL and Oracle is required.
