/ Position: MRO Maintenance Planner / Location: Sharjah, UAE / Salary: Commensurate with experience/ Reporting To: Line Maintenance Manager/ The Role:Gama Aviation is currently recruiting for an MRO Maintenance Planner to join the Maintenance team at Sharjah on a permanent basis. The MRO Maintenance Planner role calls for a confident individual with high levels of communication; outstanding interpersonal skills; with an ability to foster enduring client relationships. You will be responsible for managing our clients, their representatives, and the aircraft crews. This demands in-depth understanding of their service needs.As an MRO Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the maintenance activities provided for our clients worldwide. The aim is to deliver our value proposition and provide customer satisfaction. You will be driving improvements in efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance planning and control, while ensuring that operational safety and financial objectives are met. You will be proactive in communicating to the client all their maintenance requirements.You will work with Maintenance Manager to maximise revenue opportunities for the company within defined timescales and budgetary considerations and ensure the timely and accurate invoicing and reporting to assigned clients by ensuring all relevant costs are captured and reported to allocated financial analyst.Please note, this role will be working on a shift pattern./ Main Responsibilities:
Define and assemble the aircraft maintenance work packages, plan, and coordinate with Maintenance Manager or shift leaders.
Ensure production schedules for all maintenance activities are monitored daily and up to date.
Ensure completed work orders are consolidated for invoicing.
Request actions or information from other company supporting departments to ensure that all specifications and/or documentation are available.
To ensure compliance with all quality and safety directives.
Prepare reports and perform other duties as may be required by the Maintenance Manager.
/ Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:Essential
Professional higher education or technical school in Aeronautical Engineering or comparable qualification (technical education in any trade is an advantage).
Knowledge of OEM support functions for Gulfstream, Bombardier and Embraer aircraft types is required.
Proficient knowledge of aircraft maintenance and tooling.
Solid knowledge of CAR/ PART 145 legislation, aircraft safety rules and regulations.

Excellent verbal and written English knowledge to read technical documentation and communicate necessary work requirements (in-house and external).
Basic knowledge of report writing and customer briefing.
Knowledge of technical requirements and customer demands.

Great team player and individual, who understands how to achieve results through communication and collaboration.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and similar).
Knowledge of Corridor Aircraft Maintenance Software
