Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Motor Underwriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in underwriting, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to assess risk effectively.

•Key Responsibilities:•

- Evaluate insurance applications and assess the risk of insuring individuals and businesses.

- Analyze financial information, including credit reports and financial statements, to determine the level of risk.

- Recommend policy terms, limits, and pricing based on analysis.

- Collaborate with sales and client service teams to ensure smooth processing of applications.

- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and underwriting guidelines.

- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients and colleagues regarding risk management strategies.

•Qualifications:•

- Minimum of [2] years of experience in Motor underwriting (insurance)

- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in underwriting software and Microsoft Office.
