Key Responsibilities:
•Disassemble, recording of winding data and rewinding of AC/DC motors and alternators main stator/rotor, exciting stator/rotor.
•Inspect and test motor windings and other electrical components to diagnose issues.
•Remove old or damaged windings and clean motor parts thoroughly.
•Rewind coils according to specifications, using appropriate wire gauges and winding techniques.
•Reassemble motors and alternators, ensuring all components are properly aligned and secured.
•Perform electrical and mechanical tests on repaired units to verify proper operation.
•Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and testing results.
•Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to perform tasks.
•Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working on electrical components.
•Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering team members to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
•Stay updated with advancements in motor and alternator technology and repair techniques.
•Provide guidance and training to junior technicians on rewinding and repair methods.
