Position Overview:
As a Mortgage Sales Agent, you will be responsible for generating new mortgage business, building relationships with clients, and guiding them through the mortgage process from application to closing. You will play a crucial role in helping clients achieve their homeownership dreams while meeting your sales targets, (including business loan and business account opening).
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a network of real estate agents, builders, and other potential referral sources.
• Generate leads through various channels including referrals, cold calling, and networking events.
• Conduct thorough interviews with potential borrowers to understand their financial needs and goals.
• Educate clients on the different mortgage products and services offered by the company.
• Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and ensure all required documentation is collected.
• Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure timely and accurate processing of loan applications.
• Provide exceptional customer service by keeping clients informed throughout the loan process.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Mortgage Sales Agent or similar role in the financial services industry.
• Beginner level of understanding of mortgage products, services, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referral partners.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
