Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Montessori Nursery Teacher to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the holistic development of young children, combining the principles of the EYFS and Montessori education approaches.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver a well-rounded curriculum based on the EYFS and Montessori principles, ensuring a balanced focus on academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Create a safe and engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans, activities, and assessments tailored to individual children's needs and learning styles.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open communication channels to support the overall well-being of each child.
• Monitor and document children's progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for assessments and reporting to parents.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive educational team.
• Integrate technology and other educational tools effectively into the learning environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint, to create engaging materials for teaching and presentations.
• Write comprehensive reports on children's progress and development.
• Develop and execute weekly lesson plans, incorporating diverse and interactive teaching methods.
• Prepare and distribute weekly letters to parents, keeping them informed about classroom activities and learning objectives.
• Organize and conduct regular parent meetings to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Maintain regular working hours from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
• Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an EYFS and/or Montessori Nursery Teacher.
• Cache Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Early Years Education.
• A strong understanding of the principles and practices of both EYFS and Montessori education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications for documentation and presentation purposes.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Knowledge of child development, behavior management, and age-appropriate teaching methods.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the children and the nursery.
