Location: Khorfakkan, Sharjah

Position Overview:

The Retail Pharmacist will deliver exceptional pharmaceutical care in a retail setting, focusing on safe and effective medication use while ensuring top-notch customer service. Responsibilities include dispensing medications, providing patient education, managing inventory, and adhering to Ministry of Health (MOH) regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Verify and review medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential interactions.
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of medications.
• Offer detailed counseling and education to patients on medication use, dosage, side effects, and interactions.
• Address patient inquiries and concerns regarding medications and health-related issues.
• Provide guidance on the selection and use of over-the-counter products.
• Maintain a high level of customer service, demonstrating a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Keep the pharmacy environment clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Oversee medication procurement, storage, and distribution.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock.
• Ensure compliance with MOH regulations for medication storage and handling.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B-Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
• License: Valid MOH pharmacist license.
• Experience: Preferred prior experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a retail environment.
• Technical: Proficiency with pharmacy management software and electronic health records.
