Job Description

General Responsibilities:

Posing for Photoshoots:

Strike various poses as directed by photographers, stylists, or art directors. Follow direction for facial expressions, body positioning, and movement.

Catwalk/Runway:

Walk in fashion shows, showcasing designer clothing and accessories. Maintain posture and confidence while walking on the runway.

Promoting Products:

Represent and promote a variety of products, such as clothing, beauty products, and other merchandise in ads or commercials. Participate in product campaigns, ensuring the brand message is effectively conveyed.

Adhering to Brand Guidelines:

Represent the brand in line with its values and image. Ensure that all appearances, poses, and styles align with brand expectations.

Collaboration:

Work alongside photographers, makeup artists, stylists, and other professionals to ensure high-quality images or presentations. Attend fittings and rehearsals when required for shoots or shows.

Travel:

Travel for photoshoots, runway shows, or promotional events as required. Be flexible with location and timing, as modeling jobs can sometimes require last-minute adjustments.

Social Media Engagement:

Some models may be expected to engage with their audience through social media platforms, promoting the brands they work with.
Specific Types of Modeling:

Fashion Models

: Focus on clothing, accessories, and fashion-related products for photoshoots, magazines, runway shows, and advertisements.

Commercial Models

: Represent brands in ads that may not necessarily be fashion-related but could involve products like food, cars, or technology.

Fitness Models

: Pose for photoshoots or videos to promote health, fitness products, or lifestyle campaigns.

Editorial Models

: Pose for fashion editorials in magazines or online publications, often showcasing high fashion trends or creative photo concepts.
Skills & Requirements:

Physical Appearance

: A model is expected to maintain a certain appearance, often requiring height, body proportions, and clear skin for fashion or commercial modeling.

Confidence & Charisma

: The ability to model in front of the camera, audience, or in front of a team of professionals is key.

Punctuality and Professionalism

: Be on time and prepared for work, keeping a positive attitude.

Communication Skills

: Work well with teams (photographers, stylists, directors) and follow instructions for various types of shoots or shows.
