About the role: The Mobility Specialist is accountable for overseeing all governmental liaison and compliance for our internal staff in Saudi-based operations. This pivotal role involves ensuring seamless interactions with government bodies, maintaining adherence to regulatory requirements, and managing immigration processes efficiently. Additionally, the Government Relations Specialist will oversee the company's HR compliance matters, manage HR and Immigration portals, and coordinate with external service providers as necessary. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional in government relations, offering a diverse workload that includes addressing daily inquiries from employees and line managers in Saudi Arabia, handling a variety of governmental matters, and contributing to regional projects. Working closely with colleagues in the Middle East region, the Government Relations Specialist will play a crucial role in fostering positive relationships with government entities, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks, and facilitating smooth operations across all aspects of governmental affairs.
RESPONSIBILITIES Manage all HR and Immigration portals including but not limited to : GOSI, COC, MUDAD, QIWA, MOL, MUQUEEM Ensure meticulous compliance with internal policies, contracts, and processes aligned with local labour laws and regulations and stay up-to-date with any regulatory changes impacting our local offices, including immigration-related procedures. Liaise with the government/semi-government authorities/ technical departments to address complex immigration-related issues. Regularly maintain and update the various HR systems and data both internally (such as workday and internal trackers) and externally (such as GOSI, Muqeem), and run relevant reports as required. Collaborate with the Human Resources Manager to review, develop, and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with local labour laws and regulations. Oversee and manage comprehensive employee benefits programs, including medical insurance and pension plans. Oversee the execution of end-to-end immigration processes for our employees and their dependents ensuring employees are provided with quick, efficient, and reliable services for all Government-related tasks such as employment permits, entry visas, medical examinations, salary certificates, and other miscellaneous jobs related to Immigration. Conduct compliance assessments, provide expert advice, set clear process and requirements guidance, and handhold employees through the immigration process from communication kick-off to execution. Identify key issues that may impact immigration formalities such as travel plans, dependants, and health issues, to ensure the employee is updated on the status of each application and anticipated issues or timelines. Identify key issues that may impact immigration approvals or successful security clearance. Process cancellation for exiting employees and assist in coordinating an efficient exit process. Work with Finance for immigration portal top-ups ensuring sufficient funds for the facilitation of immigration processes. Provide employee with relevant letters including salary certificates, NOCs, and reference letters. For employees hired externally, coordinate, and facilitate relocation support including analysing the requirements such as duration of covered accommodation, and liaising their travel, temporary accommodation, and other relocation benefits administration. Maintain accurate records of employee documents and receipts for HR-related expenses including immigration-related invoices.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Strong understanding of immigration law in Saudi Arabia. Excellent knowledge of Government portals, operations, and application processes. A strong, collaborative communicator - verbal and written. Excellent organization skills and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. A curious mindset with the motivation to continually look for and implement improvements. Demonstrates business acumen and the ability to understand key Firm financial metrics. Flexible and resilient, with the ability to positively overcome challenges.

Within the Middle East region we have offices in United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Saudi Arabia with an overall headcount of 200 employees. Based in Dubai, you will work closely with the Managing Partner for MEA, who is also located there.
