Job Description

Oversee the planning and scheduling of all resources required to deliver the best services.
This will include parts, labour and the input of the specialist service delivery partners to ensure that all works are completed in a timely manner with no disruption to the Clients services.
Provide technical and engineering expertise in all functionality of the Specialist systems, leading and guiding teams in carrying out the operation and maintenance within the Facility.
Ensure all works are being carried out in accordance with the required PPM to meet KPI's, statutory requirements and Company procedures & Policies ensuring compliance with HSE and QA/QC policies so as not to interfere with client activities and achieve full client satisfaction.
 
 Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role
Designing and Implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliability
Developing a project specification with colleagues, often including those from other engineering disciplines
Developing, testing and evaluating theoretical designs
Discussing and solving complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers
making sure a product can be made reliably and will perform consistently in specified operating environments
Managing projects using engineering principles and techniques
Planning and designing new production processes
Producing details of specifications and outline designs
Recommending modifications following prototype test results
Using research, analytical, conceptual and planning skills, particularly mathematical modelling and computer-aided design
Considering the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints
Working with other professionals, within and outside the engineering sector
Monitoring and commissioning plant and systems.
Work closely with the MEP team.
Review all relevant documentation and report to Director.
Managing the progress and the cost control of the project.
 
MUST BE QUALIFIED IN Mechanical Engineering
