The MIS and Data Analytics Specialist will be responsible for managing the organization's management information systems (MIS) and conducting data analysis to support decision-making processes. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing efficient MIS solutions, analyzing data to provide actionable insights, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.




What you will do


• MIS Management:
+ Design, develop, and maintain management information systems that support organizational goals.
+ Ensure the integrity, reliability, and performance of MIS applications.
+ Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
+ Develop user manuals and provide training to staff on MIS applications.
• Data Analytics:
+ Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
+ Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
+ Use statistical tools and techniques to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
+ Conduct data validation and ensure data quality.
• Reporting:
+ Prepare and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
+ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into business performance.
+ Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and relevant.
• Collaboration:
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and support data-driven decision-making.
+ Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure effective communication and project execution.
+ Participate in strategic planning sessions to provide data insights and recommendations.
• Continuous Improvement:
+ Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within MIS and data analytics functions.
+ Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and MIS.
+ Implement new tools and technologies to enhance data analysis capabilities.

What equips you for the role:


• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and databases (e.g., ORACLE SQL/ PLSQL ).
• Strong understanding of database management systems and data warehousing
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
• Experience with ERP systems and CRM software.
