In addition to the Markets, Mindshare also operates Centre of Excellence that works at a regional level to support and provide disciplines services to all 11 Markets. These Centers of Excellence include Corporate Development, Digital and Solutions, and Growth & Client Leadership.Role context & Overview:This is a senior position within Mindshare, where you\'ll have responsibility for running a global airline based in the MENA region with services scope focused on communications planning and media campaign implementation management, by leveraging insights, analytics and strategy skillset.There is frequent high-level client contact, and you\'ll be the face of Mindshare to a major client. You will lead the client relationship while also being responsible for maintaining the quality of contracted services, lobbying additional assignments as well as developing appetite for and building revenues from out-of-scope offerings and value add services.As Planning Leader, you will be tasked with supporting management for the profitable and efficient running of the global account through the allocation of resources, process, and systems across the different markets.Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Build senior client relationships that positions Mindshare as a business partner of the client. Be unafraid to push back, be audacious and stand your ground in terms of ideas.\xc2\xb7 Maintain a deep understanding of your clients\' business and the broader industry sector.\xc2\xb7 Work in close collaboration with the Global Planning teams at Mindshare who are based in key cities around the world.\xc2\xb7 Maintain strong applied understanding of the rapidly changing industry landscape, and be able to advise clients and colleagues on key market developments and internal products and processes (e.g., Mindshare\'s Good Growth narrative, and the world-class suite of GroupM technology and data solutions).\xc2\xb7 Build client satisfaction by soliciting feedback and operating like a consultant.\xc2\xb7 Navigate conversations with clients to ensure initiatives/briefs align with business goals.\xc2\xb7 Acts as a client visionary by bringing a highly valued perspective to the client based on a deep understanding of their business, issues, and opportunities.\xc2\xb7 Overall strategic approach on the account/s designed and delivered to meet client\'s business objectives and strategies.\xc2\xb7 Oversee the implementation of the annual planning in conjunction with the client team.\xc2\xb7 Generate and communicate a shared goal and unifies a team in the pursuit of a common objective.\xc2\xb7 Drive additional services in areas like Content, Social, Data Partnerships and Performance Marketing.\xc2\xb7 Foster innovative thinking and ideas with particular emphasis on content, digital and technology innovation, and the use of data.\xc2\xb7 Ensure the team produces quality, award-winning work that demonstrates original thinking that exceed clients\' briefs, needs and expectations.\xc2\xb7 Ensure that the agency is up to date on aspects of media, consumer and market trends through cross media analysis and tracking the competitive marketplace, programme data andpreparation of relevant case studies and appropriate team or cross function briefings and training sessions.\xc2\xb7 Ensure account profitability and play a key role in assisting with new business activities applying original thinking to identify new media and new opportunities, creating growth, and added value to the client.\xc2\xb7 To recruit, develop, motivate, direct, monitor, evaluate, mentor and support reporting staff as required to fulfil the functional remit.o Monitor their function and prioritise, communicate, assign, or delegate responsibilities to direct reports to ensure the remit is achieving the required levels of performance and take whatever remedial action is necessary.Key measures of success:\xc2\xb7 Drive organic growth increase of 25% through the defining and delivering of a transformational scope of work, product, and services for the client; not limited to commerce, social, SEO, website and mobile app development, innovation and experience design and research.\xc2\xb7 Deepen Mindshare\'s relationship with the client and achieve consistently high client evaluation scores (8.0+), measured through an increase in TRR (or similar metrics).\xc2\xb7 Grow and develop a high performing team across different cities within the region, to be measured through an increase in OHI (or similar metrics).\xc2\xb7 Produce award winning work across the account with annual submission to regional and global award festivals including the Dubai Lynx, MENA & Global Effies, Festival of Media, & Cannes.Candidate Experience:\xc2\xb7 The ideal candidate will be viewed as a thought leader across the brand building, data & technology landscape, including performance, digital ecosystems, digital transformation, analytics, and digital innovation.\xc2\xb7 The Planning lead should be able to manage high work volumes, set a workflow process and manage the team\'s time to deliver on the agreed SLA\'s.\xc2\xb7 The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the assigned clients\' industry sectors and business challenges, with experience in Travel & Tourism, and Government Practice.\xc2\xb7 Previous experience recruiting, managing, and inspiring a client team.
