Mig Welder/fabricator
Job Description
• Measure, cut, and assemble metal projects using an electric arc and inert gas.
• Select suitable material.
• Ensure the work area is safe.
• Prepare metal surfaces.
• Determine gas ratios.
• Inspect weld strength during and after the welding process.
• Execute welding operations using MIG equipment and techniques to fabricate metal parts and assemblies according to specifications and blueprints.
• Perform various types of welds including straight lines, curves, and circles, while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Welds short beads at points specified by layout, welding diagram, or by FITTER I , along overlapping edges of metal parts to hold parts in place for final welding.
• Performs tasks of FITTER HELPER.
• May tack-weld, using hand, submerged, or gas-shielded arc welding equipment.
• May tack-weld, using portable spotwelding gun.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED1,500.00 per month
