Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal parts, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG welding on various metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.

Set up and operate welding equipment, including adjusting settings for proper welding conditions.

Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, and shaping as needed.

Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.

Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to complete projects on time.

Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a MIG Welder.

Proficiency in MIG welding techniques and equipment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Knowledge of safety standards and practices related to welding.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Certification in welding or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in MIG welding.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods.

Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.

Good vision and hand-eye coordination.

Work Environment:

Industrial or manufacturing setting.

Exposure to noise, heat, and hazardous materials.

Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
