A Middle School Teacher is responsible for delivering subject-specific instruction to students aged 11-14 (Grades 6-8). The role involves creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment that supports both academic and personal development. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement subject-specific lesson plans aligned with the curriculum. Deliver engaging and interactive lessons using a variety of teaching strategies. Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and class participation. Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress with parents. Manage classroom behavior and foster a disciplined yet supportive learning environment. Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and independent learning. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities. Utilize technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning. Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development programs. Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success. Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Bachelors Degree in Education or a subject-specific field (e.g., Mathematics, Science, English, Social Studies, etc.). Certification: Teaching license or certification (depending on country requirements). Experience: 2+ years of teaching experience at the middle school level preferred. Skills: Strong subject knowledge and teaching ability. Effective classroom management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate young adolescents. Adaptability and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching international curricula (IB MYP, British, American, etc.). Ability to integrate technology into teaching. Experience working with diverse student populations. Additional certifications in Special Education or English as a Second Language (ESL) are a plus.
